It’s official: New registration opens for Seniors Pension – requirements and enrollment schedule to receive 6,400-peso payment

The Mexican government has officially opened a new registration period for the Seniors Pension program, which provides eligible senior citizens with a monthly payment of 6,400 pesos. The enrollment schedule and requirements have been announced to facilitate access to this benefit. Additionally, in March 2026, senior citizens will receive a double payment of the Bienestar Pension, a social welfare initiative aimed at supporting the elderly population. Those who registered in December 2025 will receive their Bienestar Cards in February 2026, enabling them to access their payments.
