Scientists have formally named Nagatitan, a giant long‑necked dinosaur identified from fossils in northeastern Thailand, as the largest dinosaur yet found in Southeast Asia. The herbivorous sauropod, estimated to be even larger than a diplodocus, offers new clues about how these dinosaurs evolved and spread across ancient landmasses linked to today’s Thailand. The discovery is also expected to raise Thailand’s profile in dinosaur research and science tourism in the region.
