NarrativeRadar ("we", "us", "our") is a geopolitical intelligence dashboard operated at narrativeradar.io. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our service.
When you register, we collect your email address, display name (optional), and a hashed version of your password. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple, we receive your name, email, and a provider-specific identifier. We never receive or store your social login password.
We collect standard web analytics (pages visited, browser type, device) via Google Analytics. We also store your watchlist selections, alert preferences, and notification settings to provide the service.
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens) and optional analytics cookies. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on secured servers in the European Union. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All traffic is encrypted via TLS. Authentication tokens are short-lived (24 hours for access, 30 days for refresh). We apply standard security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options) and restrict database access to internal networks only.
For any privacy-related request, contact us at [email protected].
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data (email, display name, watchlist, alerts, OAuth links) is permanently removed. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
NarrativeRadar is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
