KP Government Declares Three-Day Eid Holiday

Saudi Arabia, Gulf states, Nigeria and Kenya have all set Friday as the first day of Eid al-Fitr, with public holidays and prayer times announced in major cities. Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has instead granted a three-day Eid break from March 19–21, creating a different holiday window from most Gulf and African countries. In southern Russia, Muslim regions are also observing Eid on the same Friday date, matching the wider Muslim world’s timing this year.
