12 Tonnes of KitKat Chocolate Stolen in Europe Theft

On 30 March 2026, Nestlé and European media reported that thieves stole about 12 tonnes of KitKat bars from a truck traveling from Italy to Poland. The loss of roughly 413,793 bars may cause brief KitKat shortages or slightly higher prices in some European shops before Easter. Police in countries along the route are still trying to find the missing truck and identify the thieves.
